Our expertise lies in modernizing and transforming legacy systems, particularly those based on Microsoft Access, to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legacy System Analysis: Deconstruct clients’ large, complex legacy systems, with a focus on Microsoft Access ecosystems, to understand their current state and identify areas for improvement.
  • Future State Design: Document and design the desired future state of these systems, ensuring they align with the client’s business objectives and technology roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders virtually and use hands-on tools to examine existing systems. Engage with clients to gather requirements, understand pain points, and propose solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality deliverables such as diagrams, data models, process flows, and system documentation using tools like Visio, MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Solution Architects, DBAs, and web developers to ensure that systems meet user requirements and are implemented effectively.
  • Testing Support: Assist with testing as needed, ensuring that the system functions as intended and meets all user requirements.

Requirements:

  • Business Systems Analysis Experience: Proven experience in business systems analysis, with a strong track record of documenting and designing system requirements and processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in creating technical documentation, including diagrams, data models, and process flows. Familiarity with tools like Visio, MS Word, and Excel is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • TOGAF Knowledge: Understanding of TOGAF principles and experience in applying them to align IT strategy with business goals.
  • Legacy Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Access and other legacy systems is a plus. Experience in modernizing such systems is highly desirable.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Understanding of emotional intelligence and its importance in software development teams, particularly in fostering collaboration and effective communication.
