This role is tailored for an expert with deep industry experience in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing, capable of developing robust, team-oriented solutions that drive operational efficiency and business success for large-scale migration projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Complex Projects: Design, develop, and implement advanced Microsoft Access and SQL Server solutions for large-scale migration projects, leveraging AI tools like OpenAI’s Operator, Gumloop.com, xAI’s Grok, Perplexity, and NotebookLM for backward engineering, catering to the specific needs of clients in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing industries. Examples include developing an inventory projection application that enabled a major logistics firm to predict deliverable completion and creating a firm-wide event calendaring system using MS Access, Excel, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Citrix, collaborating with teams in a consultancy setting.
- Optimize and Enhance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks by migrating slow-running queries from Microsoft Access to SQL Server stored procedures, significantly reducing report run-times from 20 minutes to under 1 minute, using AI tools like Perplexity for optimization in team-oriented consultancy projects. Optimize similar processes to improve application performance across various platforms for large migrations.
- Data Integration and Automation: Seamlessly integrate MS Access applications with SQL Server backends, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability, enhanced by AI-driven automation from NotebookLM in a consultancy team setting. Develop automated tools, such as a commission module for sales representatives and an automated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) report, that streamline business processes and enhance decision-making for large Microsoft Access projects.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders in a consultancy environment, ensuring satisfaction with our services and identifying opportunities for additional support in large-scale migrations. Facilitate meetings to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions, as demonstrated in projects involving financial modeling and trading floor operations, collaborating with teams.
- Change Control Management: Implement and manage rigorous change control procedures for large Microsoft Access projects, ensuring that all modifications to systems are documented, approved, and tested to meet client and regulatory requirements, using AI tools like xAI’s Grok for precision in team settings. Develop role-based security modules to control functionality for internal and external users in consultancy teams.
- Consultancy and Best Practices: Provide expert consultancy to clients on best practices for MS Access and SQL Server in a team-oriented environment, helping them leverage these tools and AI insights from OpenAI’s Operator to achieve their business objectives for large migrations. Examples include developing a data-quality-control system that provided dashboard metrics for a major stock trading company and producing complex reporting modules for management-level reporting in teams.
- Industry-Specific Solutions: Apply your deep understanding of the healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing sectors to develop solutions that are technically sound and aligned with industry-specific regulatory requirements and business processes, using AI tools for large Microsoft Access migrations in consultancy teams. This includes developing complex PL/SQL packages for retail price databases and managing the migration of trading floor operations to new operating systems in team settings.

- Industry Experience: Proven experience in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and regulatory requirements in each industry, applied to large Microsoft Access projects in consultancy teams. This includes working on financial modeling for fixed-income securities, managing data quality in stock trading environments, and developing solutions for manufacturing processes in teams.
- Account Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts, build strong relationships, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction in a consultancy setting, focusing on large-scale Microsoft Access migrations. This includes gathering business requirements, managing projects, and ensuring successful implementation of complex solutions in teams.
- Change Control Adherence: Strong background in implementing and managing change control processes for large Microsoft Access projects, ensuring compliance with both client and regulatory standards in consultancy teams, enhanced by AI tools for accuracy.
- Technical Acumen: Proficiency in data integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within both MS Access and SQL Server environments, using AI tools like Gumloop.com for large-scale migrations in team settings. This includes developing complex stored procedures, automating reporting functions, and optimizing application performance in consultancy projects.
