As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our consultancy solutions by providing pre-sales engineering, solution design, and implementation oversight for large-scale client engagements, leveraging artificial intelligence for 400% productivity gains.

Summary:

Under limited direction, you will provide pre-sales engineering, solution design, and implementation oversight for Consulting Solutions client engagements, focusing on large Microsoft Access modernization projects. This role is ideal for a technical expert with recent hands-on coding experience, a strong focus on pre-sales in a consultancy environment, and a deep understanding of application development and AI-driven backward engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the highest level of technical expertise within the firm, advising clients on solving complex Microsoft Access modernization challenges using AI tools like OpenAI’s Operator, Gumloop.com, xAI’s Grok, Perplexity, and NotebookLM, providing thought leadership in a team-oriented consultancy setting.
  • Sales Alignment: Collaborate with Sales and internal teams in a consultancy environment to create client sales and development strategies for large-scale migrations, attending account/sales pipeline reviews and serving as the primary contact for project and opportunity-related activities in teams.
  • Client Engagement: Develop sales collateral, including PowerPoint decks, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing, technical scope, implementation plans, timelines, risks, issues, case studies, and best practices, integrating AI insights for large Microsoft Access projects in a team setting.
  • Post-Sale Collaboration: Provide oversight during the implementation of services for large-scale Microsoft Access migrations, ensuring team orientation, performance management, SLA compliance, service metrics, quality control, security compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement, using AI tools like NotebookLM for optimization.
  • Escalation Point: Act as a point of escalation for resolving complex client issues related to service delivery commitments in large consultancy projects, leveraging AI for precision in team-driven solutions.
  • Practice Development: Adhere to departmental playbooks, monitor practice metrics, and participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for large Microsoft Access projects, identifying and recommending AI-driven improvements for productivity and scalability in teams.
  • Consultant Management: Support the administration, networking, relationship management, and coaching of key consultants in the Principal Consultant Program, focusing on team collaboration for large-scale migrations.
  • Branding and Marketing: Partner with Practice Leaders to write and post original content, attend events, and develop case studies and project successes for large Microsoft Access modernization, integrating AI insights in a consultancy team setting.
  • Hiring and Screening: Create personas, screen candidates, and make hiring decisions for billable consultants delivering AI-enhanced solutions to clients in large, team-oriented projects.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain current knowledge of trends and best practices in AI, Microsoft Access modernization, technical, functional, and industry areas, applied in consultancy teams for large migrations.

Application Development Skills:

  • Technical Accountability: Ability to hold developers accountable and design technical roadmaps aligned with large-scale Microsoft Access modernization goals, using AI tools like OpenAI’s Operator in team settings.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in solution design, web frameworks, service-oriented architecture/web services (REST/SOAP), web technologies (MERN stack/JavaScript), markup languages (XML/JSON), OOP concepts, software design and architecture (microservices), coding standards, best practices, unit tests, automation, and code reviews, enhanced by AI tools for large-scale Microsoft Access migrations in teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of experience in professional services (systems integrators, management consulting, software) in a consultancy environment, focusing on large Microsoft Access modernization projects in teams.
  • Consulting Experience: Experience in facilitating and managing complex business modernization or digital transformation projects for large Microsoft Access migrations, working in consultancy teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to read and write code, create reference architectures, and demonstrate proficiency across the enterprise technology ecosystem, enhanced by AI tools for large-scale projects in teams.
  • Industry Experience: Team or lead experience in one of Help4Access’s primary practice areas (e.g., Microsoft Access) and established experience in at least one industry vertical, applied in consultancy settings.
