CRPOA provides Legal, Insurance and Training Services to thousands of members including reserve officers, search and rescue members, and volunteers in policing across the state of California. Faced with a growing membership base and related services programs, CRPOA realized their existing systems were unable to provide the features needed to manage the increasingly complex array of memberships, dues and service programs.
CRPOA turned to their trusted provider of custom software applications, Help4Access, to build an integrated CRM system to track and manage memberships, monthly billing, and program services using the Microsoft Access 2010 platform.

Extracting membership information directly from CRPOA’s existing legacy membership system, the Help4Access team developed a new MS Access database that was the core of the new system. The California Reserve Peace Officers Association was founded in 1974 for the purpose of raising the professional, educational and employment standards of Reserve Peace Officers. Working with individual reserves, reserve associations, departments, the State Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, and the California Legislature, CRPOA has, from the beginning, been actively engaged in working for the betterment and welfare of reserves. Although originally founded solely for the benefit of reserve officers, the Association now also serves for search and rescue members and volunteers in policing.
