Help4Access- a provider of world class professional Microsoft Access software development solutions, extends Comcast Cable’s SAP / Oracle system for delivery of 60,000 employee performance reviews.

Faced with an aggressive deadline to develop a complex annual employee performance review and reporting system, Comcast, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies, soon realized that the task was too complex to be implemented within their Enterprise Level Oracle / SAP HRM System within the time allotted. Comcast turned to their trusted provider of custom software applications, Help4Access, to build a custom employee performance review and reporting system built on the Microsoft Access platform.

According to Sasha Froyland, Help4Access Founder and CEO, “This isn’t as unusual as it might seem. Many large organizations realize that Microsoft Access is the perfect tool to extend their Enterprise Level Systems. Microsoft Access is the fastest prototyping tool in the world and delivers a working product in a fraction of the time required to develop an enterprise level solution. ”

Help4Access’s Engineering team hit the ground running and quickly turned Comcast’s high level business requirements, requiring hundreds of programming hours, into high quality, bug free, application code in less than one week’s time.

As Sasha points out, “We leveraged all our core competencies in our effort to complete this high profile project for Comcast. Our business analysts worked tightly with Comcast’s human resource department and our Engineering team worked overtime to deliver a rock solid database application customized to Comcast’s unique reporting needs. ”

Extracting employee performance data directly from Comcast’s SAP / Oracle system, the Help4Access team developed an Access database to produce reports with custom file names and file paths, organized geographically and by department. The custom application developed by Help4Access, enabled Comcast to deploy a comprehensive solution to their business units around the world and perform the employee annual review process on schedule and at a fraction of the cost require to modify SAP / Oracle.

Sasha sums it up by saying “Large multi-national companies such as Comcast need the power of Enterprise Level HRM Systems, such as SAP / Oracle, to meet their demanding needs. Custom software solutions developed by Help4Access on the Microsoft Access platform have the perfect balance of performance, low cost and low risk that all come together to deliver a very high rate of return.”
